Al-Balad · 90:8

In context

1. أَيَحۡسَبُ أَن لَّن يَقۡدِرَ عَلَيۡهِ أَحَدٞ

   90:5Does he think that never will anyone overcome him

2. يَقُولُ أَهۡلَكۡتُ مَالٗا لُّبَدًا

   90:6He says, "I have spent wealth in abundance

3. أَيَحۡسَبُ أَن لَّمۡ يَرَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌ

   90:7Does he think that no one has seen him

4. أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ عَيۡنَيۡنِ

   90:8Have We not made for him two eyes

5. وَلِسَانٗا وَشَفَتَيۡنِ

   90:9And a tongue and two lips

6. وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلنَّجۡدَيۡنِ

   90:10And have shown him the two ways

7. فَلَا ٱقۡتَحَمَ ٱلۡعَقَبَةَ

   90:11But he has not broken through the difficult pass
