Ash-Shams · 91:10

In context

1. وَنَفۡسٖ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا

   91:7And [by] the soul and He who proportioned it

2. فَأَلۡهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقۡوَىٰهَا

   91:8And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness

3. قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا

   91:9He has succeeded who purifies it

4. وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا

   91:10And he has failed who instills it [with corruption]

5. كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ بِطَغۡوَىٰهَآ

   91:11Thamud denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression

6. إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشۡقَىٰهَا

   91:12When the most wretched of them was sent forth

7. فَقَالَ لَهُمۡ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقۡيَٰهَا

   91:13And the messenger of Allah [Salih] said to them, "[Do not harm] the she-camel of Allah or [prevent her from] her drink
