Ad-Duhaa · 93:6

In context

1. مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ

   93:3Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]

2. وَلَلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

   93:4And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]

3. وَلَسَوۡفَ يُعۡطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرۡضَىٰٓ

   93:5And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied

4. أَلَمۡ يَجِدۡكَ يَتِيمٗا فَـَٔاوَىٰ

   93:6Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge

5. وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلّٗا فَهَدَىٰ

   93:7And He found you lost and guided [you]

6. وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلٗا فَأَغۡنَىٰ

   93:8And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient

7. فَأَمَّا ٱلۡيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقۡهَرۡ

   93:9So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]
