Ad-Duhaa · 93:8

In context

1. وَلَسَوۡفَ يُعۡطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرۡضَىٰٓ

   93:5And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied

2. أَلَمۡ يَجِدۡكَ يَتِيمٗا فَـَٔاوَىٰ

   93:6Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge

3. وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلّٗا فَهَدَىٰ

   93:7And He found you lost and guided [you]

4. وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلٗا فَأَغۡنَىٰ

   93:8And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient

5. فَأَمَّا ٱلۡيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقۡهَرۡ

   93:9So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]

6. وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنۡهَرۡ

   93:10And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]

7. وَأَمَّا بِنِعۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثۡ

   93:11But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]
