Al-'Alaq · 96:14

In context

1. أَرَءَيۡتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ

   96:11Have you seen if he is upon guidance

2. أَوۡ أَمَرَ بِٱلتَّقۡوَىٰٓ

   96:12Or enjoins righteousness

3. أَرَءَيۡتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ

   96:13Have you seen if he denies and turns away

4. أَلَمۡ يَعۡلَم بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرَىٰ

   96:14Does he not know that Allah sees

5. كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمۡ يَنتَهِ لَنَسۡفَعَۢا بِٱلنَّاصِيَةِ

   96:15No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock

6. نَاصِيَةٖ كَٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٖ

   96:16A lying, sinning forelock

7. فَلۡيَدۡعُ نَادِيَهُۥ

   96:17Then let him call his associates
