Al-'Alaq · 96:15

In context

1. أَوۡ أَمَرَ بِٱلتَّقۡوَىٰٓ

   96:12Or enjoins righteousness

2. أَرَءَيۡتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ

   96:13Have you seen if he denies and turns away

3. أَلَمۡ يَعۡلَم بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرَىٰ

   96:14Does he not know that Allah sees

4. كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمۡ يَنتَهِ لَنَسۡفَعَۢا بِٱلنَّاصِيَةِ

   96:15No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock

5. نَاصِيَةٖ كَٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٖ

   96:16A lying, sinning forelock

6. فَلۡيَدۡعُ نَادِيَهُۥ

   96:17Then let him call his associates

7. سَنَدۡعُ ٱلزَّبَانِيَةَ

   96:18We will call the angels of Hell
