Al-'Alaq · 96:7

In context

1. ٱلَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِٱلۡقَلَمِ

   96:4Who taught by the pen

2. عَلَّمَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مَا لَمۡ يَعۡلَمۡ

   96:5Taught man that which he knew not

3. كَلَّآ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَيَطۡغَىٰٓ

   96:6No! [But] indeed, man transgresses

4. أَن رَّءَاهُ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰٓ

   96:7Because he sees himself self-sufficient

5. إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلرُّجۡعَىٰٓ

   96:8Indeed, to your Lord is the return

6. أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يَنۡهَىٰ

   96:9Have you seen the one who forbids

7. عَبۡدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰٓ

   96:10A servant when he prays
