Al-'Alaq · 96:9

In context

1. كَلَّآ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَيَطۡغَىٰٓ

   96:6No! [But] indeed, man transgresses

2. أَن رَّءَاهُ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰٓ

   96:7Because he sees himself self-sufficient

3. إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلرُّجۡعَىٰٓ

   96:8Indeed, to your Lord is the return

4. أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يَنۡهَىٰ

   96:9Have you seen the one who forbids

5. عَبۡدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰٓ

   96:10A servant when he prays

6. أَرَءَيۡتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ

   96:11Have you seen if he is upon guidance

7. أَوۡ أَمَرَ بِٱلتَّقۡوَىٰٓ

   96:12Or enjoins righteousness
