Al-Qadr · 97:5

In context

1. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ

   97:2And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree

2. لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرٖ

   97:3The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months

3. تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرٖ

   97:4The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter

4. سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ

   97:5Peace it is until the emergence of dawn
